Trip refund/cancellation policy:

We understand that your plans may change, but due to limited seating on our vessel dive trips are non-refundable unless we are given a 48hr notice of cancellation. If you cancel within 48 hours or no-show, you will be charged the full cost of the trip and no refund will be available. You may call at any time to request to reschedule but availability is not guaranteed. All trips are weather/condition dependent. Scuba Steve’s reserves the right to cancel courses/trips at our sole discretion. In the event of cancellation by Scuba Steve’s we will attempt to reschedule. If unable, customers will be offered a rain check, store credit, or a full refund. Refunds issued to credit cards may take time to process depending on your bank. Scuba Steve's is not responsible for delays in credit card refund processing.

Split charter policy:

To run a public split charter, we require a 4-diver minimum. If we do not meet the minimum, the trip will be canceled, and customers will receive a full refund. To ensure divers are not limited on site selection, snorkelers are not allowed on public split charters. If you would like to guarantee your spot(s) to dive with Scuba Steve’s or the opportunity to dive a certain site, we recommend booking a private charter. ¾ day and full day trips are available as private charters only.

Wreck/deep diving policy:

For all shipwrecks and deep reef/drift dives, diver certification level, age and experience will be factored into who can dive for the safety of both our customers and crew. No one under the age of 15 may dive our shipwreck or deep reef sites. Advanced or deep/wreck specialty certifications are preferred, but open water certifications can be accommodated with limitations. Open water divers may be asked to show proof of 50 or more logged dives and/or deep wreck/drift dive experience. Limits on site options will be decided at the sole discretion of the captain and crew. Scuba Steve’s reserves the right to refuse dives to any customer(s) due to safety concerns. Please share group experience and certification levels during booking. For drift dives all divers must be able to equalize easily during a free descent so the dive site isn’t missed, please keep this in mind when booking. We offer advanced, deep, and wreck specialty courses, if you are interested in a certification let us know!

Spearfishing/lobstering policy:

To spearfish on a public split charter, every customer must be comfortable with allowing spearfishing. Lionfish hunting and lobstering (in season) with your own equipment are allowed on all dives that do not take place in the Looe Key Sanctuary boundaries. Rental equipment for spearfishing/lobstering is available on private charters only. To spearfish or lobster on a public trip you must arrive with your own equipment and be clearly proficient in it's use. Limits on public trip spearfishing will be decided at the sole discretion of the captain and crew. To guarantee your ability to spearfish or lobster with Scuba Steve’s we recommend booking a private charter. Free dive spearfishing and spearfishing on wreck dives are available on private charters only. For all spearfishing/lobstering trips, diver certification level, age and experience will be factored into who can participate for the safety of both our customers and crew. No one under the age of 12 may participate in spearfishing. Limits on spearfishing site options based on diver certification/experience level will be decided at the sole discretion of the captain and crew. In groups with minimum experience, divers may have to share the use of spearguns/hunting equipment to minimize hazards. Scuba Steve’s reserves the right to refuse dives to any customer(s) due to safety concerns. Please share group experience and certification levels during booking. We offer a hunting and collecting specialty course specific to spearfishing and lobstering, if you are interested in certification let us know!
